Orange Blossom Jamboree, one of the top independent Florida festivals, has announced their 2018 lineup and it not only will surely get many Florida music fans over the top excited, but for the first time will feature Electric Piquete. Click here fore early bird tickets now on sale.

First things first, the 9th Annual Orange Blossom Jamboree is being held May 17-20 this year and will once again be at Sertoma Youth Ranch. For those who have never been, Sertoma is often described as “a mini Spirit of Suwanee Music Park”. It’s heavily wooded with both primitive and electric campsites (Though be warned, electric sites usually sell out the same day tickets go on sale) and has much of the same laid back feel of SOSMP. The nice thing about it being smaller is that about the longest you will have to walk to get from place to place is only a few minutes. The other unique part about OBJ is that it is strictly Florida bands only. It’s a great chance to experience some of the great music we have around the state.

The big news first, Cope is back! For many years, the festival was anchored by Florida jam band Cope. They played every year and if any festival can be considered to have a “house” band, Cope was it. After missing the past 2 years due to being on hiatus, this year’s big surprise will be not only the return of Cope, but they will play 2 nights.

Bobby Lee Rodgers is a Florida festival staple and will make a great addition to the lineup this year.

Making their first appearance at OBJ is Miami’s Trae Pierce and the T-Stones. Led by multi-Grammy winner Trae Pierce this band brings the party every time they take the stage and will be a fantastic addition.

Melody Trucks Band recently played Hometeam New Year’s Rally and will also make their Orange Blossom Jamboree debut this year as well. Melody and her band bring a great southern roots rock and Americana sound that is perfect for festivals.

South Florida will be well represented again this year. In addition to Trae Pierce and The T-Stones, other SoFla acts this year are Juke, Electric Piquete, Crazy Fingers, Guavatron and Uproot Hootenanny.

Returning again this year will be a Wednesday Pre-Party featuring Crazy Fingers, Blackwater Grease, Sonic Stew and Grindstone Sinners.

This lineup announcement covers 60 bands and a wide range of music that is sure to have something to get everyone excited.
